University Hospital in Newark, NJ is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages. The role includes evaluating referred patients and delivering comprehensive interventions to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.

Candidates must be licensed in New Jersey and CPR certified or will complete within 6 months of employment; near-completion of the degree may be considered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the PhysicalTherapist position is to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages.Physical Therapist will evaluate referred patients, to implement and administer a comprehensive therapeutic intervention to restore and maximize function, to relieve or reduce pain, and to prevent disability following disease or injury.

Qualifications

Graduatefrom an accredited PhysicalTherapy Program (candidates that are near completion of the degree requirements and will be eligible for licensure requirements will be considered). Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey as verified by the Board of Consumer Affair. Must maintain license in good standing. Must be CPR certified or will complete within 6 months of employment.
