Fuel Sport & Spineis a busy multi-disciplinary sports medicine clinic in midtown Manhattan.

We are currently seeking a NYS licensed Physical Therapist who is passionate about active rehab, functional movement and hands on care.

We have an amazing team approach to helping all of our patients. We treat professional athletes, weekend warriors and everyone in between.

The services we offer our patients are: Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Pilates and wellness care. We treat a diverse variety of patients that includes sports injuries, spinal conditions, post-surgical, elderly, desk workers, and much more.

At Fuel you will have the ability to learn from our highly regarded physicians while simultaneously providing comprehensive care for your patients each visit. Responsibilities:

• Educate patients about the benefits of physical exercise.
• Provide one on one physical therapy services for persons with injuries or disabilities.
• Perform soft tissue mobilization and manual therapy techniques.
• Monitor and record patient progress during treatment sessions.
• Maintain professional demeanor during all interactions with patients, colleagues, and families.
• Adhere to professional standards of conduct.
• Document patient encounters in compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.

Physical Therapy Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy School
• Active New York Physical Therapy License
• Have a working knowledge in assessment and treatment of sports injuries and spine conditions
• Be highly energized, personable, professional, organized and possess excellent time management and communication skills
• Health Conscious and athletic is a plus
• Training or knowledge in soft tissue techniques (ART & Graston preferred), functional assessments, sports specific techniques, and/or active rehabilitation is a huge plus.
• Strong interest in running injuries is also a plus.
