Job summary

The Osborn in Rye, NY is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for per diem coverage, including weekends. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment programs, and provide therapies to restore function and maximize quality of life following illness, injury, or surgery.

The role requires NYS licensure, graduation from an accredited PT program, and at least 2 years of experience, with computer literacy and experience using the Point Click Care EMR system.

Qualifications

The Physical Therapistis responsible under the direction of thedepartment head, for evaluating, developing treatment programs and treatment ofpatients. Performs Physical Therapy procedures to restore function, preventdisability and maximize the potential and quality of life following illness,disease, injury, surgery or disuse. Provides treatment of patients, collaborates with physicians and other members or care team, completes required billing and documentation, etc.

As arepresentative of the Rehabilitation department, and of the organization, it isrequired that the Physical Therapist perform the essential functions of the jobin a professional manner, with a positive attitude and is aware and supportiveof the mission, vision, resident Bill of Rights, policies and procedures of theorganization.

Must be:

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in NYS
