Job summary

BBSI is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-surgical, neurological, and balance-related conditions. The ideal candidate will provide individualized care and collaborate with our clinical and administrative staff.

The role involves performing evaluations, developing plans of care, and delivering therapeutic interventions, with emphasis on patient education and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current New York State Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-surgical, neurological, and balance-related conditions.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients regarding their condition, recovery, home exercise program, and injury prevention.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff.
