Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current Physical Therapy license for New Mexico.
• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle daily caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to access physical conditions, limitations, and pain, establishing personalized treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercises, and education; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care and communicate progress and outcomes to patients and families.
• Provide patient education and at-home exercises; support pelvic health care and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

About the Role

Job Description

• Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to access physical conditions, limitations, and pain. Collaborate with patients to establish personalized treatment goals aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Treatment Planning & Implementation: Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a combination of manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Educate patients on injury prevention, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Provide clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and expected outcomes.
• Patient Education & Support: Offer guidance. Provide resources for continuing pelvic health care, including at-home exercises and self-care practices.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations. Ensure documentation reflects patients' treatment plans, progress, and follow-up needs.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy | Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Program
• Current Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico
• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
• Possess and enhances up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for patients
• Demonstrates a “servitude” attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
