Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico.
• Experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or related field.
• Possess and enhance up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.

Responsabilités

• Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess conditions, limitations and pain, and establish personalized goals.
• Treatment Planning & Implementation: Design and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, biofeedback, exercises, and education.
• Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with healthcare professionals and clearly communicate treatment plans and progress to patients and families.
• Patient Education & Support: Provide resources for continuing pelvic health, including at-home exercises and self-care practices.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records per clinic policies and state regulations, reflecting plans, progress and follow-up needs.

Summary

Our Pelvic Health Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) specializing in pelvic health to join our multidisciplinary team. The DPT will provide expert care to patients experiencing a variety of pelvic floor conditions, including but not limited to, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, post-surgical recovery, pregnancy, and postpartum care. The ideal candidate will utilize evidence-based treatments and provide personalized care plans to improve patients' quality of life.

• Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to access physical conditions, limitations, and pain. Collaborate with patients to establish personalized treatment goals aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Treatment Planning & Implementation: Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a combination of manual therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Educate patients on injury prevention, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Provide clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and expected outcomes.
• Patient Education & Support: Offer guidance. Provide resources for continuing pelvic health care, including at-home exercises and self-care practices.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations. Ensure documentation reflects patients' treatment plans, progress, and follow-up needs.

Requirements

• Doctorate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in physical therapy from accredited college or university
• Current Physical Therapy license for the state of New Mexico
• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
• Possess and enhances up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
