Sunny Days is hiring Pediatric Physical Therapists to serve children across New Jersey. We offer part-time employee and independent contractor positions with flexible schedules and in-home visit requirements.

Qualifications

• New Jersey PT license required.
• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Home-Based Service Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform developmental screenings/assessments and provide Physical Therapy services to children.
• Follow IFSP goals and tailor intervention strategies to each child.
• Coach families on intervention techniques for home and community settings.
• Deliver services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA/state/federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental screening/assessments, provide Physical Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals working with the family
• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals
• Coach family members and caregivers on various intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in both home and at community settings
• Provide services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings
• Ensure that progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in intervention through addressing specific goals, coaching sessions, and communication with the entire teamPrepare progress reports
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

• Early Intervention Experience OR Equivalent Experience
