Job summary

CentraCare Health in Melrose, MN is seeking a Physical Therapist to organize and conduct medically prescribed therapy programs aimed at restoring function and preventing disability after disease, injury, or loss of a body part. You will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatments in our outpatient setting with occasional inpatient and LTC coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in MN or eligible for temporary permit; license required within 90 days from date of exam.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Job description

As a Physical Therapist, you will organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following diseases, injuries, or loss of a body part. You will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician. Your role involves helping patients reach their maximum performance and functional levels while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities in our outpatient setting with occasional inpatient and/or LTC coverage as needed.

SCHEDULE:

• Full time | 64 hours every two weeks
• Monday - Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm
  

PAY & BENEFITS:

• Starting pay begins at $45.38 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $40.33-61.72 per hour

QUALFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Physical Therapist (PT) Licensed by the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a physical therapist or current temporary permit required. License required within 90 days from date of exam
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
