Responsibilities

• Evaluate students referred for related services and prepare findings reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Contribute to IEP or 504 plan development for eligible students.
• Provide direct and indirect physical therapy in school settings.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other staff.
• Train teachers, parents and paraprofessionals in delegated techniques and equipment use.
• Travel between schools to provide services.

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Full-time Physical Therapist for a school setting in Markham, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by evaluating and supporting students with physical therapy needs, contributing to IEP/504 planning, and delivering services that improve mobility and access in the school environment.
