Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week home health/clinic assignment in Marinette, WI. The role features a day shift and a flexible schedule with 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

The therapist will assess and treat adolescents to geriatrics with orthopedic and musculoskeletal needs, using manual therapy, exercise, and evidence-based modalities. On-site support and EPIC charting are available.

Qualifications

• BLS certification and WI state licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
• Outpatient PT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy to adolescents to geriatrics with general orthopedics and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour shift.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OT and SLP.

About Facility:

• Outpatient rehab is located 1.5 miles away from the Aurora Bay Area Hospital (55 Bed Community Hospital, 1 hour north of Green Bay)

Unit Information:

• Beds: N/A
• Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience: Yes
• Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types:

• Adolescents (approx. 5% of cases and experience not needed) to Geriatrics - general orthopedics, low back pain, hip and knee pain, post-surgical, falls, work-based injuries, general neuro
• Daily Case Load:
  • About 10 patients per 8h Days

Required Certifications:

• BLS, WI state license
• Bachelor s degree or above

Skills required

• Manual therapy, exercise, mechanical traction, lite gait, education, PNS (pain neuroscience),
• Preferred: vestibular trained, dry needling, blood flow restrictions

Support on the Unit:

• Other PTs
• 2-3 PTA
• Manager/Supervisor, onsite and via phone
• Schedulers to schedule visits;
• Multidiscipline team with OT and SLP

Charting System:

• EPIC – preferred
• Equipment: hand weights, TheraBand, resistance machines, aerobic equipment, bikes, new steps, treadmills,

Floating: If yes, where:

• If have a MI license, could float to Michigan Outpatient PT.
• Would know in advance, about 30 minutes away.

Orientation:

• 1-3 days based on comfort

• Weekend rotation: None
• Will they be on call: No call
• Holiday Expectations: 50% of holidays in contract or every other holidays
  • Clinic is closed day of holidays, but open eves and day after holidays

• Approval of time off: Can approve up to 7 days
