Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide individualized care as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will mentor students and colleagues, promote health and wellness, and advocate for patients and families in a dynamic hospital setting.

Full-time hours typical Monday through Friday with weekend coverage as needed; compensation details applicable to Mayo Clinic locations in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy; Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensure & Certification: Current Minnesota State Physical Therapy Licensure; Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, individualized physical therapy care with interdisciplinary team.
• Mentor therapy students and junior staff as needed; act as educator for peers.
• Promote health, wellness, and fitness to patients and families.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist you will be considered a local expert who will work closely with patients, families, and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized care. You will serve as an advocate and promote health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. If you are just starting out your career, you will be mentored and guided by senior Physical Therapy colleagues. If you already have substantial experience, we may ask you to be an educator or mentor for therapy students, peers, and other medical professionals.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy. Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred.

Schedule Details

Monday through Friday, eight hour days with start/end time to be determined but would most likely be 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00. Intermittent weekends and holidays to cover hospital service. This typically is approximately 4 weekends per calendar year.
