Job summary

The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX seeks a Full Time Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. We are a 120‑bed skilled nursing facility with strong ties to Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and the Lubbock community.

You will conduct screenings and evaluations, develop care plans, deliver rehabilitative interventions, coordinate with families and care teams, and prepare comprehensive discharge summaries to meet regulatory standards. New grads welcome; license required.

Qualifications

• PT license required.
• Open to physical therapists at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME - THE GARRISON CARE CENTER - LUBBOCK, TX

The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX is a 120‑bed skilled nursing facility with strong ties to Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and the Lubbock community. We provide post‑acute, long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric outpatient services. We can offer a stable and fun in‑house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in‑house rehab program!

Duties

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist license is required.

Open to Physical Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
