Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. You will work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans that support our patients' recovery and well-being.

Objectives

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide hands-on, patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments.
  • Document progress notes and comply with clinic protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with chiropractors, medical doctors, acupuncturists, Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC), and massage therapists for integrated care.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, pain management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Record and submit records and Medical Necessity Reports when required.
  • Track and monitor KPIs.
  • Perform thorough physical exams and functional assessments.
  • Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
  • Design and monitor therapeutic exercise programs.
  • Apply non-pharmacological pain management approaches.
  • Guide recovery from orthopedic, sports, and neurologic injuries.
  • Proficiency with modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, traction, cold/heat therapy, etc.
  • Accurate and timely charting using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and self-care strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Manage caseload efficiently, maintaining on-time appointments.
  • Be culturally sensitive to diverse patient populations.
  • Comply with California PT Board regulations and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Adjust to various patient needs and evolving protocols.

Education and Experience

  • Active California Physical Therapist License (required).
  • New graduates welcome.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or integrative care preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems preferred.
  • BLS/CPR certification (required or obtainable upon hire).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the workday.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for hands-on techniques and operating tools.
  • Sufficient visual and auditory acuity.
  • Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
  • Sustained physical activity in a fast-paced setting.
  • Occasional reaching and stretching.
