Job summary

Your Health Organization in the Little River area is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver care across homes, ALFs, ILFs, clinics, and via Telehealth. This is a salary-based, full-time 8-hour day, Monday to Friday.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, provide education, and coordinate with the health team. A SC license, CPR, and compassionate patient care are required, with travel between locations expected.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Physical Therapy training program and state board certification.
• Current SC license to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel between offices and facilities.
• Ability to document electronically.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and complete health histories.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients.
• Arrange referrals to other health team members and community resources.

Physical Therapist role performs visits in homes, ALF's, and ILF's, clinics, and via Telehealth. This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time 8-hr position (8:00AM-5:00PM) (Monday-Friday).

What Are We Looking For?

Your Health is currently looking for a Physical Therapist to join our growing primary care family. You must be a compassionate and empathetic clinical professional with the ability to provide the highest standards of care to our patients. It is also important to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a positive and motivating manner. As a Physical Therapist here at Your Health, you will obtain complete health and psychosocial history and records findings in a systematic format. Perform complete physical assessment, while providing health education and counseling. Arrange referrals to other members of the health team as needed and to community resources. Physical Therapist must use appropriate reporting mechanisms as required by law, respect the dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients, obtain appropriate authorization and consents for treatments, review patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, procedures, and clinical course. And market and provide community education.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Physical Therapy training program and certified thought the therapy state board
• A current license to practice in the state of SC.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Previous experience in healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, and other places.
• Ability to utilize electronic documentation required'
• At least one year experience in the specialty field you are applying for
• Experience and/or interest in Pelvic Health Preferred
