Role Description

This full‑time, on‑site Physical Therapist role is based in Lincoln, NE. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence. Daily responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families on home exercise programs and preventative care, and supporting wellness center initiatives for ongoing self‑rehabilitation. The role also involves promoting a safe, caring clinical environment and participating in quality improvement efforts to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license‑eligible Physical Therapist in the state of Nebraska; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities, including experience with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ability to educate patients in preventative care, wellness, and home exercise programs, supporting long‑term self‑management.
• Organizational and documentation skills to manage caseloads, maintain accurate records, and meet regulatory and payer requirements.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, continuous learning, and participation in professional development activities.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or occupational health settings is beneficial.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records and clinic‑related software systems.
