Job summary

Encompass Health in Liberty, SC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You’ll provide direct patient care, assess needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to guide patients through recovery.

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will supervise treatments, adjust plans as needed, and support patients’ physical, emotional, and functional progress while fostering a compassionate, home-like environment for both patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
