Job summary

Baptist Health Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across a full range of therapies in a fast-paced rehab setting. You will develop individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, and educate patients and families as part of comprehensive care.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current license by the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy.

Summary

Job Description: Physical Therapist Full-Time, Days Physical Therapy

Baptist Health Rehab Services provides a full range of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for all ages. Our therapists and assistants are trained in treating neurological, orthopedic, vestibular, lymphedema, pediatrics, industrial medicine, swallowing, and speech and language disorders.

The staff physical therapist shall evaluate and treat patients, develop a treatment plan, and set goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals. The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies. The therapist will assist with the education of affiliating students, department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large. The therapist will appropriately delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians. The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan. The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.

Job Description

• Supervises/delegates/directs activities of students and Rehab Services Technicians.
