We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Lake Placid Health & Rehab, a 180-bed skilled nursing facility in Lake Placid, FL. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential by providing evidence-based physical therapy services in a warm and inviting environment.
Provide physical therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiovascular conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient
Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress
Treat patients with a variety of diagnoses and conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and treatments
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and detailed records
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
