AltaMed is seeking a capable Physical Therapist to join our PACE program in California. You will evaluate mobility dysfunction, develop individualized plans, and work to restore function, mobility, and overall health for frail elderly and disabled patients.

You must hold a California PT license and have at least 1 year of geriatric experience, with a current BLS certification. Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin is preferred, supporting diverse communities.

Job Overview

The Physical Therapist–PACE position provides high-quality services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease as they restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health. This position is responsible for evaluating individuals with mobility dysfunction and providing a plan of care that is specific to the individual’s goals related to functional independence.

Minimum Requirements

• Physical Therapist license issued by the State of California Physical Therapy Board is required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled populations
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.

Compensation

$51.26 - $64.08 hourly
