Role Description

This is a Full-Time on-site role for a Physical Therapist at REPAIR Sports Institute in Huntington Beach, CA. The Sports Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing one-on-one care, functional evaluations, diagnosis summation, designing injury prevention programs, conducting strength and conditioning + wellness sessions and collaborate with our team of holistic rehabilitation providers.

REPAIR focuses on patient first high quality care using the Wellness Therapy Method. Rehabilitation is more than just treating injuries. It is about educating patients and taking care of them from a holistic collaborative standpoint. At RSI, we have a team of likeminded passionate practitioners that work together for the best results possible. We stand firm in our beliefs that the high volume insurance model is not the way to go and we will continue to do everything we can to push back against insurance companies dictating how we treat.

In addition, to the team of amazing therapists we also have an outstanding internship, apprenticeship and PT aide program. Our PT aides are recruited from local 4 year universities in order to join our internship program. Following months of training and demonstration of competencies, the top interns will progress into our CA approved medical apprentice program. Following the several month long internship program our qualified apprentices go through a 2 week intensive bootcamp in order to demonstrate the competencies. This has created some of the best PT aides in the OC!

Last but not least, RSI prides themselves on providing highly researched care, including but not limited to; detail oriented manual therapy, functional therapeutic exercises and new aged modalities - shockwave therapy, class IV 25 watt laser therapy, blood flow restriction training, proteus training systems, to name a few.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of physical therapy
• Licensed PT in CA
• 1-3+ years of outpatient experience
• Confident in Physical Therapy and Ortho skills
• Confident in detailed PT evaluations
• Excellent manual therapy skills
• Experience in designing and implementing injury prevention programs
• Strength & Conditioning knowledge
• Patient care experience with athletes and or has been/is an athlete
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
