Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and experienced
Lead Physical Therapist to join our team at Lake Houston Physical Therapy, part of the U.S. Physical Therapy family. The Lead PT plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services while fostering a supportive and efficient clinic environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve functional goals
- Lead and mentor clinical staff, including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, students, and aides
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director and/or Regional Leadership on clinical operations and patient outcomes
- Promote evidence-based practice and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Participate in community outreach and business development as needed
- Maintain professional licensure and stay current with continuing education
QualificationsRequired:
- Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT) from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapy License in good standing
Preferred:
- 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Manual therapy or specialty certification (e.g., OCS, COMT) is a plus
