Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Physical Therapist to join our team at Lake Houston Physical Therapy, part of the U.S. Physical Therapy family. The Lead PT plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services while fostering a supportive and efficient clinic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve functional goals
• Lead and mentor clinical staff, including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, students, and aides
• Collaborate with the Clinic Director and/or Regional Leadership on clinical operations and patient outcomes
• Promote evidence-based practice and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Participate in community outreach and business development as needed
• Maintain professional licensure and stay current with continuing education

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (MSPT or DPT) from an accredited program
• Current Texas Physical Therapy License in good standing

Preferred:

• 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role
• Manual therapy or specialty certification (e.g., OCS, COMT) is a plus
