New Clinic Opening in Houghton Lake
Houghton Lake, MI

PACE Central Michigan is opening a new clinic in Houghton Lake—and we’re seeking a Physical Therapist who is ready to help build something meaningful in a rural community.

This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist seeking more than a traditional clinical role—someone who is eager to help build a new clinic from the ground up and play an active role in shaping care delivery at our Houghton Lake location.

Position Summary

Assess PACE Central Michigan, Houghton Lake’s, participants' functional mobility and components affecting their ability to live independently in the community. This position supports and contributes to the physical therapy program at PACE Central Michigan. This will include providing and recommending therapeutic interventions.

What You’ll Do
  • Comprehensive assessments in the center and care planning.
  • Provide treatment to improve/maintain function.
  • Provide education to participants and caregivers.
  • Oversee wellness programming.
  • Provide direction and support to PTA(s).
  • Work hours of M-F 8 am–4:30 pm
What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program recognized by CMS.
  • Must possess an active and unencumbered PT license in the State of Michigan.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a health-related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with an age-advanced population.
  • Current CPR Certification by AHA, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Current and unencumbered MI driver’s license. Proof of vehicle registration & insurance.
