Job summary

The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a growing team. You will assess patients requiring rehabilitation, provide treatment, and document outcomes in line with regulatory requirements.

You will supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and apply current clinical procedures to deliver high-quality care in a short-term rehabilitation setting. Florida licensure and a PT degree are required, with experience in geriatric and neurological rehab

Qualifications

• FL licensure required.
• Degree in PT from an accredited PT Program.
• Knowledge of PT evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Understand the principles of physical modalities in PT.
• Knowledge of use of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aids, assistive and resistive devices.
• Ability to write specific objective documentation that is outcome orientated, detailing patient needs, potential to benefit from treatment and progress.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation, adult neurological, cardiac or general rehabilitation preferred.

Job Overview

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services, provides patient treatment that meets patient needs, uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with clinical procedures. Writes accurate complete and clear documentation in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payor and accrediting requirements. Responsible for overseeing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.

Physical Therapist Requirements/Qualifications

• FL licensure required
