Job summary

Orthopaedics East & Sports Medicine Center (OrthoEast) in Greenville, NC is seeking a Full and/or Part-time Physical Therapist to join our growing practice. You will treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions, including pre- and post-surgical cases, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological issues as needed.

This role emphasizes evidence-based rehabilitation, patient education, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality care and work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Must graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, NC PT Licensure.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues.
  • Ability to deal with frequent change and unexpected events.
  • Be willing to work in a team environment and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
  • Good communication skills required in dealing with diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews Physician's referral and patient's condition to determine physical therapy treatment required.
  • Tests and measures patient's functional status and records findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
  • Plans and prepares treatment program based on evaluation of patient data.
  • Instructs, motivates, and assists patient to perform evidence-based rehabilitation interventions.
  • Documents treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart.
  • Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
  • Confers with Physician and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment program, and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient's health care.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

Orthopaedics East & Sports Medicine Center (OrthoEast) is a well renowned physician group specializing in Orthopedic Medicine seeking a Full and/or Part-time Physical Therapist to join our growing practice!

In this position, you will see a variety of orthopedic conditions including pre- and post-surgical, sports related injuries, chronic pain, and the occasional lower-level neurological problem.

This position requires compliance with OrthoEast’s compliance standards, including its Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures. Such compliance will be an element required as part of the job duties, and considered during performance evaluations.

Summary:

Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability by performing the following duties.
