Job description

GFPT is a boutique outpatient physical therapy office located in the heart of the Great Falls Village Centre. We are opening and now staffing a BRAND NEW second location in Great Falls to focus on our orthopedic and return to sport patients! Our original location will offer specialty services including hand therapy, pelvic floor PT, neuro PT, geriatric and pediatric PT etc. Our expansion aims to promote overall wellness and provide access to all PT services and specialties needed by those in our community. GFPT also strives to be a supportive home to our providers and staff. GFPT is looking for 1-2 full time orthopedic therapists as well as any specialty providers interested in PRN which could lead to full time depending on demand (pelvic floor, neuro, geriatric, lymphedema etc). GFPT values quality over quantity. All appointments are one hour in length and are one-on-one directly with the PT. An average full time caseload is 6-7 patients per day with one hour included for lunch. Treatments are focused on each patients individual needs using best evidence based practice.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion
• Utilize manual therapy and other specialized techniques to address specific patient needs
• Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Candidate Requirements:

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting preferred
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
