Job summary

Cibola General Hospital's Physical Therapy opening serves both inpatients and outpatients at our 25-bed Critical Access facility in Grants, NM. The ideal candidate has pelvic health specialization or high-level experience and will develop and supervise rehab programs.

You will evaluate patients, create plans of care, perform interventions, and supervise PT/PTA staff and students. A NM license, BLS certification within 90 days, and a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are required.

Description

Pelvic Health Specialist or High-Level Experience is highly preferred. Our 25-Bed Critical Access Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist that will provide direct rehabilitative care for both inpatients and outpatients, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare staff to achieve patient goals.

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.

• Supervises PT & PTA students completing clinical rotations.

Requirements

Education

Masters's degree or higher in Physical Therapy required. Doctorate's degree in Physical Therapy preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New Mexico. Certified as a Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position.

Work Experience

1-5 years+ experience preferred.
