Job summary

Theracare seeks a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver exemplary care to adults in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Home Health in Garrett, IN. This full-time role includes work across Garrett and surrounding areas with patient-centered therapy and collaboration with a dedicated team.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (or higher) and current American Physical Therapy Certification Board registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in multiple care settings.
• Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles and equipment.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients under physician orders using therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate as a team member to deliver Physical Therapy services.
• Provide therapy in Skilled Nursing, Outpatient, Long Term Care or Home Health.

Job Description

Theracare is currently seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in both the Skilled Nursing and Home Health Care settings. This is a Full Time position including skilled nursing facilities in Garrett, IN and surrounding along with the delivery of Home Health services in the surrounding areas. Qualifications

The Physical Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
