Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care with compassion. Our PT gym is equipped with the latest technology to support your practice.

This full-time role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for tuition reimbursement and ongoing education. Current licensure and CPR are required; a Master’s degree is preferred, or Bachelor’s plus experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care to patients requiring physical therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships by understanding patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate progress and victories with patients.
