Julia Temple Healthcare Center in Englewood, CO is hiring a Part Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program. You will conduct screenings, develop care plans, and deliver rehabilitative interventions to geriatrics and post-acute patients.

The role requires a current PT license and a willingness to work in a dynamic, team-based post-acute setting with an emphasis on compassionate care and patient recovery. Evening or weekend shifts may be required depending on the schedule.

Qualifications

• Open to new grads.
• Ability to stand/walk and assist with patient handling.

Responsibilities

Julia Temple Healthcare Center in Englewood, CO, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Part Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to PTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
