Job summary

River's Edge Rehabilitation & Living Center in Emmett, ID is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time, PRN and part-time schedules to join our in-house rehab program and deliver evidence-based care.

We value a collaborative team environment, provide ongoing training, wound care, manual therapy, locomotor training, and patient-family education, with a focus on compassionate geriatric care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current PT license.
• Open to all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatments per regulatory standards.
• Assist with standing/walking and patient transfers; lift as needed.
• Administer procedures: manual techniques, exercises, modalities, wound care.
• Counsel patients and families about physical disorders.
• Prepare discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.

River's Edge Rehabilitation & Living Center in Emmett, ID, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time, PRN and Part Time Physical Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license is required.
• Open to PTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
