Job summary

Hope Network in East Lansing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Neuro Rehabilitation program in a full-time capacity. You will evaluate, treat, and educate individuals recovering from neurological injuries while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance mobility and independence.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, patient education, and accurate documentation in a dynamic rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license and APTA membership.
• Experience with adults with neurological disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and functional independence.
• Design and monitor home exercise programs and mobility interventions.
• Train direct care staff on safe transfers, gait techniques, and therapy recommendations.
• Collaborate with PTAs, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and treatment reports.
• Participate in care planning, discharge planning, family education, and team meetings.
• Monitor therapy equipment and recommend adaptive equipment or mobility devices as needed.

Physical Therapist: Neuro Rehabilitation

The Physical Therapist provides skilled physical therapy services to individuals in Hope Network's Neuro Rehabilitation program. In this flexible role, you'll evaluate, treat, and educate individuals recovering from neurological injuries and conditions while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. This is a full-time position.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate individuals and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans

What You Bring

Preferred:

• Two or more years of experience working with adults with neurological disabilities or traumatic brain injuries (TBI)

Required:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Physical Therapist license
• Membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
