Independent Physical Therapist (1099 Contractor)

Location: East Lansing, MI 48823

Resilient Physical Therapy is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced PT to operate independently within our established clinic. With shared services, flexible scheduling, and a built-in referral stream, you can grow your clientele while focusing on delivering exceptional patient care.

What You Will Do:

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will operate your own business within our clinic. You will have the autonomy of private practice ownership — without the upfront risk or overhead.

• Provide one-on-one, individualized care in a modern, well-equipped clinic
• Deliver evidence-informed PT services focused on function, mobility, and performance
• Collaborate with a team of like-minded professionals in a shared space
• Develop and manage your own caseload with flexible scheduling (minimum 34 patient care hours per week)
• Educate and empower clients through movement, injury prevention, and lifestyle strategies
• Build your brand and client base with support from our in-house marketing

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
• CPR certified
• Additional certifications a plus (e.g., dry needling, IASTM, Kinesio Taping)
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude
• Skilled communicator with a passion for patient-centered care
• A movement-obsessed clinician who values quality over quantity
• Open to mentorship and professional development opportunities
