Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery. You will assess patient needs and create personalized therapy plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The role offers opportunities to grow within a national network, use advanced rehabilitation technology, and participate in ongoing professional development while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas.
• Current BLS required.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred, new grads will be considered.
• Must be able to work weekdays with rotating weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding organizational values.
