Job summary

University Orthopedics is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy staff in Cranston, RI. The role conducts comprehensive examinations, establishes diagnosis and prognosis, and develops individualized plans of care with ongoing evaluations throughout care episodes.

Essential duties include evaluating patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction, designing interventions, documenting for compliance, and facilitating patient progress. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the state of RI.
• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Team oriented professional.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skill.
• Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist completes comprehensive examinations to determine body structure and function level impairments, activity limitation and participation restrictions. Establishes diagnosis, prognosis and develops an individualized plan of care. Implements treatment interventions and performs on-going evaluations through-out episode of care.
