Physical Therapist, Sports Medicine

Job Overview

The Physical Therapist (PT) (Acute) delivers quality therapy services to patients by performing evaluations and developing individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes. The PT implements the treatment program, reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in an outpatient setting. The PT is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice following the guidelines of the State of Texas Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy.

Services are delivered within an interdisciplinary team approach, including the patient and significant others. These services are provided in compliance with CommonSpirit, St. Joseph's mission, ethical standards, and policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree; Major in Kinesiology/Exercise Science or other Physical Therapy related field
• Licensed by the State of Texas as a Physical Therapist
• BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$36.87 - $53.46 per hour
