Role Description

The Physical Therapist role at Legacy Physiotherapy is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Clarksville Area. The Physical Therapist will assess patient conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, leading one‑on‑one therapy sessions, documenting clinical progress, and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response. The role also involves educating patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. The Physical Therapist will contribute to a patient‑centered environment by maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy to provide safe, evidence-based interventions.
• Experience in Rehabilitation, including designing and progressing treatment plans for diverse conditions.
• Demonstrated excellence in Patient Care, with a focus on communication, empathy, and clinical reasoning.
• Ability to support Home Care through clear instruction and development of effective home exercise programs.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a varied caseload.
• CPR certification and adherence to all relevant legal, ethical, and safety standards.
• Previous outpatient or orthopedic experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
