Job summary

Jefferson-Lewis-Hamilton-Herkimer-Oneida BOCES seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist to deliver school-based physical therapy in a component district or center-based classroom in Jefferson or Lewis County.

The role includes collaborating with general education staff, documenting progress, and communicating with families. Telepractice may be used as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of APTA Standards and Practices
• Experience with school-based therapy
• Strong communication with parents

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those identified as benefiting from service.
• Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and learning.
• Record and report student progress.

Job description

LOCATION:Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment in a Component District or Center-based classroom in Jefferson or Lewis County

STARTING DATE:As soon as possible.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
