Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking a physical therapist to treat patients ranging from CVA to post-orthopedic surgery and general medical cases. The role emphasizes independent work as well as collaboration with physicians, nurses, social workers, and a team involved in project improvement.

The successful candidate will join Providence’s patient-focused, whole-person care culture. Requirements include an accredited PT degree, Washington PT license upon hire, and BLS certification.

  • Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Clinical experience in treatment of a variety of patients, performance of exercise programs, transfer training and gait training for orthopedically and neurologically involved patients in acute care and/or outpatient

Responsibilities

Description

The physical therapist will work treating all types of patients including the CVA's, post orthopedic surgery, general medical and outpatients. S/he needs to be able to function well independently as well as part of a team, which not only includes other physical therapy staff, but physicians, nurses and social workers. Interest and willingness in participating in project improvement and development is an important part of this position.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
