Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bakersfield is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team. You will deliver direct inpatient care, assess patients, and develop personalized rehabilitation plans in a well-equipped gym setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care to patients in need of physical therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, assessing patients, creating personalized care plans and addressing patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
