Simply Innovative Therapies on Long Island seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide pediatric PT for Early Intervention and school-age students in home, school, and community settings. The role focuses on improving gross motor skills, mobility, and functional participation for children.

You will evaluate, treat, and document progress, collaborate with families and school staff, and maintain high professional standards in accordance with NYS and APTA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS license as a Physical Therapist.
• DPT or equivalent Master’s degree required.
• Pediatric experience preferred; EI and/or school-based experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students.
• Provide direct physical therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings.
• Address gross motor development, balance, strength, coordination, posture, gait, and mobility.
• Implement evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions to support functional movement.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills.
• Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports.
• Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide pediatric physical therapy services for Early Intervention (birth–3) or school-age students across home, school, and community settings on Long Island. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat children with gross motor delays, mobility limitations, neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic impairments, and functional movement challenges. This role focuses on improving strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall functional participation in daily routines and educational environments.

The Physical Therapist will collaborate with families, educators, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, effective, and child-centered service delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students
  
• Provide direct physical therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings
  
• Address gross motor development, balance, strength, coordination, posture, gait, and mobility
