Simply Innovative Therapies on Long Island seeks a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide EI and school-based services across home, school, and community settings. You will evaluate, treat, and coordinate with families and educators to support child-centered goals.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions to improve gross motor skills, mobility, and daily participation in educational environments.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapist license required.
• DPT or Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• Pediatric experience preferred; EI and/or school-based experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple settings while collaborating with a team.
• Professional, reliable, flexible, and child-focused.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students.
• Provide direct physical therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings.
• Address gross motor development, balance, strength, coordination, posture, gait, and mobility.
• Implement evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions to support functional movement.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills.
• Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports.
• Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State and APTA guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to providepediatric physical therapy services for Early Intervention(birth–3) orschool-age students across home, school, andcommunity settings on Long Island. The Physical Therapist willevaluate and treat children with gross motor delays, mobilitylimitations, neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic impairments, andfunctional movement challenges. This role focuses on improvingstrength, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall functionalparticipation in daily routines and educational environments.

The Physical Therapist will collaborate with families, educators,service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensureconsistent, effective, and child-centered service delivery.

Responsibilities include:
