Job summary

Berthoud Care & Rehabilitation in Berthoud, CO is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. Deliver rehabilitative, skilled treatment and wound care as needed, with a flexible schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Licensed Physical Therapist required; new grads welcome. This position supports geriatric patients in a post-acute setting within a values-driven in-house team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Regular standing and walking throughout the facility with occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Berthoud Care & Rehabilitation in Berthoud, CO, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program! PRN: Flexible schedule with work-life balance Pay: $48 - $55/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications
