Job summary

Green Oaks Physical Therapy in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist to join a hands-on, outpatient orthopedic team. You will work side by side with three DPTs and two PTAs, in a fast-paced clinic focused on manual therapy and excellent patient experience.

We offer a competitive salary ($78,000–$95,000), a productivity bonus up to $15,600 per year, tuition reimbursement, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and access to the EIM Manual Therapy Orthopedic Certification

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Texas.
  • 1+ years outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine preferred.
  • New graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Review physician referral and patient records to determine required PT treatment.
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals, and a comprehensive program to attain goals.
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential therapies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
  • Ensure timely documentation including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.

You would work side by side with three DPTs and two PTA's in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting. This is a manual-therapy-focused clinic with a strong emphasis on patient experience and making the most of every treatment session.

You’ll also have the opportunity for one-on-one mentorship with the clinic director , with a focus on developing your manual therapy skills, refining your clinical reasoning, and strengthening.

  • Competitive salary: $78,000–$95,000 , based on experience

  • Evidence In Motion (EIM) Manual Therapy Orthopedic Certification Program (a $9,000 value)

Job Description
What You’ll Do:
  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results

  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required

  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines

  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers

  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians

  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals

  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments

  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies

  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications
  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.

  • Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in Texas

  • Experience:

  • Preferred: 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine.

  • New graduates with strong interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehab are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
