Job summary

OrthoCincy is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient care, developing and executing treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery or injury. You will evaluate and treat patients while collaborating with a team to ensure comprehensive care for the community.

You will maintain licensure, pursue continuing education, and communicate effectively with physicians and staff. A supportive management team and mentorship for new grads enhance professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • State license to practice physical therapy.
  • CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and adhere to state practice act including rules of supervision for support staff.
  • Maintain state licensure and complete continuing education regularly to stay current on the practice of physical therapy to best serve our patients.
  • Evaluate and treat patients in need of skilled physical therapy services with proper documentation to support medical necessity of treatment.
  • Facilitate open communication with physicians, co-workers and patients to provide the best comprehensive care possible for the community we serve.
  • Participate in chart audits and review of care plans with colleagues to facilitate best practices within our organization.

General Job Summary: As a physical therapist with OrthoCincy, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients according to a treatment plan that you develop. You will also be collaborating with team members to assist patients with a full recovery after surgery or injury.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
