Legacy Rehabilitation in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program. This full-time role focuses on screening, evaluation, and delivering skilled therapy to geriatric patients, with emphasis on wound care and discharge planning.

You will provide consultations with patients, families, and care teams, perform therapeutic interventions, and document progress in accordance with regulatory standards. A strong values fit with CAPLICO is encouraged.

• Screening and evaluating patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment interventions in line with regulatory standards.
• Perform procedures as part of rehab plans including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory requirements.

Legacy Rehabilitation in Amarillo, TX,is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist.
Open to PT applicants of all experience levels.
