The Opportunity:

The Physical Security Systems Technician will collaborate with Information Security, Facilities, Office Expansion, and Project Management teams to implement and support proper Physical Security protocols across all Fisher Investments locations. You will also coordinate with vendors and planning leadership to ensure expansion timelines and guidelines are met. This role reports to the Information Security Team Lead.

The Day-to-Day:

• Deliver physical access control and video monitoring technologies to support building security and privacy requirements.
• Conduct and manage system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Design, document, and implement physical security technology using structural drawings and as-builts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and application issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve break-fixes.
• Support end-users, vendors, and teams across multiple time zones.
• Manage vendors during installations and support visits.
• Effectively escalate and communicate implementation issues internally and externally.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of information while safeguarding intellectual property.
• Follow corporate physical security policies, standards, and operating procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing physical security policies, standards, and procedures as needed.
• Occasional domestic and international travel (passport required).
• Occasional after-hours support for planned implementations and break-fixes.

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with physical security hardware and software in an enterprise environment.
• 3+ years supporting physical security projects.
• Successful participation and delivery of enterprise-level projects.
• Understanding and application of information security and risk concepts.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries prioritizing security.
• Technical Skills:
  • Application installation and end-user support for enterprise ACS, VMS, and CCTV components such as electronic locks, card readers, request-to-exit devices, access control panels, reader boards, power supplies, and cameras.
  • Hardware troubleshooting for ACS, VMS, and CCTV components.
  • API integration into physical security systems.
  • Windows Server and workstation troubleshooting.
  • Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with project frameworks.
  • Experience with architectural design software.
