Job summary

Nebius is seeking a hands-on Physical Security Systems Technician to deploy, validate, and maintain CCTV and access control across European sites. The role emphasizes installation, configuration, testing, and documenting SAT results to ensure production-ready security infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on security systems experience, strong troubleshooting, and ability to work across multiple sites with minimal supervision. Travel within Europe is required.

Qualifications

We are looking for a hands‑on Physical Security Systems Technician to support deployment, validation, and maintenance of physical security infrastructure across our European sites. This role focuses on execution — installation, configuration, testing, and documentation of CCTV and access control systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a structured approach to testing and documentation, ensuring systems are properly validated and production‑ready.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Support

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (cameras, NVRs/DVRs, VMS)
• Support access control systems (badging, controllers, readers, permissions)
• Perform hardware replacements (cameras, readers, controllers, cabling components)
• Troubleshoot system issues (network, hardware, software)

Testing & Validation

• Execute system testing after installations and changes
• Develop and run Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures for new deployments
• Validate system performance, coverage, failover scenarios, and compliance with design
• Identify, track, and help resolve issues found during testing

Documentation

• Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation (network diagrams, device inventories, configurations)
• Create and maintain SAT reports, test cases, and validation checklists
• Document system changes, incidents, and resolutions
• Ensure documentation is structured, standardized, and audit‑ready

Deployment & Operations

• Support system upgrades, migrations, and new site rollouts
• Work with vendors and integrators to ensure quality delivery
• Provide on‑site and remote support across European locations
• Ensure systems comply within internal standards and security requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with physical security systems (CCTV, access control)
• Experience installing and configuring cameras and access control hardware
• Experience with system testing / commissioning (SAT or similar)
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE)
• Basic Linux knowledge (logs, services, basic troubleshooting)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software
• Willingness to travel within Europe
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VMS platforms
• Familiarity with access control systems
• Experience in data center or enterprise environments
• Knowledge of low‑voltage cabling standards
• Exposure to structured testing methodologies (SAT, UAT, commissioning)
