Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the SAIC Corporate Real Estate team and support functions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for facility projects.
  • Manage security integrator contracts and performance.
  • Design ACS/IDS/CCTV systems following industry standards.
  • Request proposals from security integrators and review for technical compliance.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of security systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing physical and technical security programs.
  • Conduct security surveys and vulnerability assessments.
  • Serve as technical authority to enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

This position is remote, with limited travel to SAIC locations as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School + 14 years’ experience; Associates + 12 years; Bachelors + 10 years; Masters + 8 years.
  • Minimum 5 years of physical/technical security experience.
  • Top Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI and Poly clearance.
  • Understanding of NISPOM, ICD-705, UL-2050, TEMPEST mitigations, and countermeasures.
  • Experience with Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV systems (Lenel, DMP, Eagle Eye preferred).
  • Experience building SCIFs, SAP/F, and Open Storage Areas.
  • Ability to read facility and engineering drawings.
