Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a Uniformed Security Services Supervisor with TS/SCI to support DARPA and a government customer in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on sustaining a compliant physical security program, implementing DoD requirements, and coordinating security surveys and construction activities.

The candidate will recommend access control and surveillance measures, develop security plans, and ensure procedures for security devices are tested and maintained.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of physical security equipment (CCTV, PIR, access control, IDS, locks).
• Familiar with DoD Manuals and ICD 705 specifications and IC tech specs.
• Experience conducting site surveys for SCI and SAP facilities.
• 2+ years performing physical security functions in a classified DoD environment.
• Must obtain required training within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sustaining a physical security program compliant with DoD directives.
• Develop security standards aligned with DoD guidance for DARPA contexts.
• Conduct security surveys and prepare related reports including TP/ATP planning.
• Recommend access control and surveillance measures and latest technology.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure security compliance.
• Develop/test procedures for security boundaries and devices (CCTV, ACS, IDS, PIR).

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Uniformed Security Services (USS) Supervisor with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with sustaining a physical security program that complies with the requirements of DoD Directive 5200.8 and DoD 5200.8-R, and that provides services that will reduce or eliminate threats and vulnerabilities that present a risk to personnel, property, information, or business continuity.
• Develop and recommend physical security standards that accord with DoD requirements and guidance and that can be applied within DARPA;
• Conduct physical security surveys and assessments and prepare, as required, associated reports, including the planning and preparation of Transportation Security Plans and Test Activity Plans;
• Determine and recommend security construction requirements for secure areas to assure compliance with, as appropriate, the requirements of ICD 705 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS and the review and comment on construction plans (e.g. architectural blueprints);
• Oversee construction activities to assure compliance with appropriate security requirements;
• Determine and recommend access control and monitoring/surveillance measures and devices, to include the review and evaluation of the latest technology;
• Determine and recommend security lighting requirements;
• Determine, and recommend OPSEC, System Security Engineering (SSE), TEMPEST, and Technical Security Countermeasure requirements; and
• Develop and update Configuration Management and Control reports for the physical security boundaries, exterior, and interior of the DARPA enclave, to include identifying and updating configuration controlled items within the physical security boundaries, exterior, and interior;
• Develop, update, and conduct test and maintenance procedures/activities for the physical security boundaries and the controlled items within the boundaries, to include security devices and equipment (e.g., CCTV, ACS, IDS, PIR).

Required Skills and Experience for this position

• Thorough knowledge of equipment common in the physical security environment, such as CCTV, Passive Infrared devices (PIR), access control systems, intrusion detection systems, combination locks, etc.
• knowledge of sound attenuation principles and compensatory actions; knowledge of DoD Manual (DoDM) 5200.01, Volume 3, DoDM 5105.21, Volume 3, DoDM 5205.07, Volume 3, and IC Tech Spec – For ICD/ICS 705 (Latest Version).
• Must have experience conducting site surveys for SCI and SAP facilities.
• Two (2) or more years performing the physical security functions described in this contract, preferably in a classified DoD environment.
• High school diploma
• Must obtain the following training certifications within one (1) year of hire: NSA TEMPEST Fundamentals Course and TEMPEST for System Installation & Facility Design Courses; an ICD 705 course; CDSE Introduction to SAPs, and CDSE SAP Security Compliance Inspection Seminar.

Clearance Requirement:

• Top Secret, with eligibility for SAP and SCI access.
