Job summary

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components of physical security systems.
  • Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
  • Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for projects for the purposes of pricing by approved vendors.
  • Review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes; submit complete and accurate vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for inclusion in project requisitions.
  • Project manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, and assure operational readiness at project completion.
  • Prepare and archive project close‑out documentation.
  • Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
  • 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security‑focused tools and services.
  • Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.
  • Experience in project management including resource planning, schedule management, reporting project status, and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects.
  • PSP, CPP, PMP certification.

The base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 – $154,000.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
